Compact and Ruggedized Switcher: AV-HSW10

The AV-HSW10 is a compact and ruggedized switcher that bridges the gap between IP and baseband video, making it suitable for a variety of applications from corporate to compact fly-away production kits.

Inputs & Outputs

The AV-HSW10 offers 2x 3G SDI Outputs and 4x 3G SDI inputs, LAN Terminal to enable NDI®, SRT, or RTMP workflow, as well as HDMI I/O. The USB-C terminal allows connecting the switcher to a computer running TEAMS or ZOOM.

IP Protocols & PTZ Connectivity

Thanks to NDI, NDI|HX & SRT support, it’s easy to combine it with Panasonic IP-enabled PTZ cameras and by supporting RTMP to directly stream the video to platforms such as YouTube & Twitch. With the SwitcherLink technology, it is possible to connect the HSW10 with PTZ remote controllers such as the AW-RP60, allowing it to send orders directly to the switcher, like switching inputs based on camera selection.

Keyer & AUX Buses

The AV-HSW10 has two keyers that can be used as Chroma, Luminance, Linear Key, or PinP to create a professional video image for web conferencing (Chroma Key only on KEY1). With the Shot Memory function, up to 12 presets can be saved. Two AUX buses are available, which can, for example, also be used as an IP/baseband converter. In addition, progressive NDI® video can be integrated into a 1080i production format.

System Configurations

• Lecture or Live Event: For hybrid, in-person, and online events, large-screen video at the venue can be output via 3G-SDI or HDMI and easily broadcast to remote locations via IP.
• Webinar or Teleconference: USB Video Class is supported for streaming to a web conferencing service, such as Teams or Zoom, without having to install a special driver on the PC.
• Video Streaming: The AV-HSW10, also a great option for broadcasting prerecorded video, supports RTMP for direct uploading to video-sharing platforms such as YouTube.
